Fuerteventura Reserva Starlight
In the Canary Islands you can find three areas that have the recognition of Starlight Reserve: the island of La Palma, Fuerteventura and Teide and the Cumbres of Tenerife. This designation is given to those territories that preserve the natural light influence intact and, therefore, are excellent for stargazing.
Fuerteventura has been declared by UNESCO as a Starlight Reserve, with the aim of guaranteeing the conservation of one of the most beautiful skies on the planet.
Every night, after the sun goes down, the sky over the island of Fuerteventura becomes a true spectacle.
Millions of bright stars, the long and marked Milky Way, planets surrounded by strange satellites, shooting stars that cross the sky and mythological constellations are just some of the beauties that we can observe. A trip through the stars that you cannot miss.
Who hasn’t wanted to make a wish when seeing a shooting star? In Fuerteventura, you can contemplate star showers and feel part of the universe.
